Disco is a Stanford University startup, the platform brings together students with different interests in projects.
Intuitive onboarding and invitation-only access to the platform will create rapid growth.
Students at Stanford University have to find each other in groups for many projects in order to work together on an assignment. Lecturers provide students with Excel lists where they can sign up. In this way, students can see who else is working on the project and look for specific groups.
But often the search for suitable group members turns out to be difficult. Often in larger courses there are also a large number of students. Another problem with matching in an Excel list is the possibility of misunderstandings and miscommunications. If the information in the list is not clear and precise, there can be confusion about who wants to work with whom. One way to counteract this problem is to use group-finding tools. These tools allow students to indicate their skills and interests and then be automatically matched with other students who have provided similar information.
Together with Disco and Stanford University, 02100 Digital has developed a tool for finding groups. We accompanied and supported the entire process from ideation to development.

Multi Step Onboarding
The Multi Step Onboarding resulted in very high data quality. More than 90% of the users' profiles were completed. Due to the high quality, few groups were dissolved again and we were able to check high user satisfaction.
AI Matchmaking
Through an AI supported algorithm, different students were connected with each other. This saved students a lot of time and put them directly in a group with the right students.
Invite Only platform
New users could only access the platform by inviting another user. Through the Invite Only logic, we were able to gain many new users for the platform in a very short time.
